I’ve been holding onto the biggest secret for months, and it’s finally time to share it—my husband’s 30th birthday is about to be a huge surprise! After my 30th birthday trip to Nevis, we’re headed back to the Caribbean for what Johnny thinks is just a quiet getaway, but little does he know, I’ve got a big surprise up my sleeve. We’re kicking off his milestone year in St. John (the island that shares his name) with a birthday bash that’s going to be full of adventure and laughs, and of course, we’re doing it in full pirate fashion.

I’ve been having way too much fun planning this tropical getaway and finding perfect outfits to match the occasion. I think I nailed it without going overboard (pun intended). I’m channeling lots of nautical-inspired items like this printed maxi skirt and beaded necklaces with seashells and fish charms. And what would a trip to the beach be without lots of swimsuits? I cannot wait to wear this rosette bikini, pink cut-out one piece, and patterned monokini. I’m also throwing these chic gold sandals, classic oval sunglasses, and powder sunscreen in my beach bag.
