TGIF! I thought I’d kick off the weekend with a fun post on my all time favorite eye makeup. ‘Tis the season of tailgates, sorority socials, holiday parties, and more! You want to look as #onpoint as you possibly can. But yet it’s also the season of late nights in the library and early mornings traveling if you’re abroad. In either situation, we all want to look as fresh and put together as possible. But that’s not always easy. Luckily for us girlies, there are some truly miraculous eye makeup products that can be life savers for brightening and opening up your beautiful eyes in the midst of all of the craziness of life!!
The mascaras I use on a daily basis in the order I put them on:

Cover Girl Super Sizer Mascara: I use this first to elongate my lashes and give them some color (they’re blonde ha)
Benefit They’re Real Mascara: I apply this on top immediately after for some va-vooom and major lift!
DIOR Lash Extension Effect Volume Mascara: This is ideal for extra volume and I usually only add this into the mix when I’m “going out” and am feeling extra GLAM. (Hey, sometimes that’s a Tuesday morning and I just need some extra help hiding the bags under my eyes)
Clinique Lash Power Mascara: I apply this as the finishing layer because it really brings my lashes out even more, helps separate them if they’re clumped together, and adds some serious length. I do my baby bottom eyelashes with this mascara as well because it’s so delicate.
If I had to pick a favorite mascara out of these it would be the
Cue your inner Taylor Swift, wing your eyeliner, and use those wings to fly (this is a daily mantra of mine…)
The eyeliner I use:
Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner {I have it in “jet black” for when I’m wearing a colorful or black outfit and “midnight deep blue” for when I’m wearing navy}: The is like the Sharpie of eyeliners. It goes on so smoothly and stays on forever, smudge free. I honestly can’t say enough about the application and quality of this product. It comes in really cool colors too so be sure to check them out!
L’Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner: I just recently tried this and it is more of a brush than a pen. I have really been liking the gel consistency and the rich black color so far!

But with all of this talk of makeup, I always try to remember how pure and refreshed I feel when I’m not wearing any at all. There’s nothing like soft, product-free skin and wispy blonde eyelashes to make me feel like myself.
One of my all time favorite quotes, said by none other than Audrey Hepburn of course, is:
“Make-up can only make you look pretty on the outside but it doesn’t help if you’re ugly on the inside. Unless you eat the make-up.”
