The 4th of July is almost here!!! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that we celebrate the 4th of July all week long in my family (and particularly on Long Beach Island!). Our entire shore house is decorated in red, white, and blue, partly because my birthday is on Flag Day (June 14th– it’s a real holiday, I swear) and also because the 4th of July occurs while we are at the beach. We love everything American, nautical, and beachy in our house! Therefore, when I had to get my nails redone the other day, I chose to give them a little patriotic flare!
Here they are on the beach:
I chose to get a gel manicure with a bright red base color, with only my ring finger having the flag design. They painted the flag with regular nail polish and added some glitter to the stripes– because the American flag needs a little bit of glitter, clearly.
