Greetings from “the land of sea and sun!” I’ve escaped reality for 10 days for a world full of hot sunshine, salty breezes, hundreds of pristine beaches, and coconut guava daiquiris. I am a very happy chick. I wanted to share a few items that were on my packing list, as well as a few I’m lusting over. February breaks and spring break are right around the corner, and it’s always fun to countdown to a future vacation by treating yourself to a little something special that you will pack!
I got these gorgeous sandals for Christmas and the light sand color goes with just about everything I packed. They are also incredibly comfortable– such a score!
I admittedly love tanning lotion. But it is always kind of a nuisance to get out of the shower and have to diligently rub in lotion all over and make sure it doesn’t streak. BUT, I recently discovered this tanning lotion that you use in the shower and I am obsessed! You put it on for about 3 minutes and then get out of the shower, and then wa-la! You’re good to go! I love me some time saving beauty products for sure.
My sister just got me this insulated bottle for Christmas and it is so cool! It keeps cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot drinks hot for 12! I’ve been using it here in Antigua and it really works– even when it lays out in the hot sunshine. Plus it’s super light– definitely a great back-to-school purchase!
Itsy bitsy teenie weenie mint scalloped bikini! $18. Amen.
I tried on these sunglasses yesterday in the Sunglass Hut here and fell hard. TB gets it right once again. I need.
You just need a wide-brim straw hat with a white Island-y ribbon! You just do.
This body mist smells like “coastal blooms and sea salt” — it would make a lovely vacation scent!
My vacation accessory game has been all layered necklaces all the time. Love the dainty gold details of this one!
In the dark of winter when I have daydream fantasies (usually when I’m in the library..) about laying on some tropical beach with a frozen drink and a plate of tropical fruit, I’m usually laying on something that looks like this… anyone with me?!!
Sending you salty kisses and sandy hugs this week!! xo
