Good morning, friends! This post is a very real depiction of what I’m doing this weekend. I originally had plans to head into NYC for at least a night this weekend, but some things got changed around and I haven’t been feeling 100%, so I decided to stay put and prioritize REST. I never do this so it feels to luxurious and special to just be having some quiet time and getting caught up on things instead of working and traveling (though I do love both of those things, sometimes you just need to go to sleep before 11pm on a Friday night! You feel?!).

Our living room is mainly navy and white, with touches of (you guessed it) banana leaves, hot pink, and glam gold. When Katy Garry approached me about designing a canvas for our apartment, I immediately gave a full-hearted YES to her vibrant, bold, free spirited art. This banana leaf canvas was custom created (I’m pretty sure I said something like ‘can you do pink and green banana leaves and make them look like they’re dancing?’?), but thankfully she made a handful of others that you can enjoy too. 😉 The painting is such a cheery and fun statement piece and has officially pulled our living room together. It has such great energy and gives off the best vibes to anyone who sits under it. I’ve never been one for understated clothing or accessories, and it looks like I’m heading in that same path for art. ? I hope you love how it’s coming together so far!
