Confession: I have a whole bin full of Christmas-ready sweaters, pajamas, plaid tops, sparkly accessories, Christmas themed party headbands, etc., that lives under my bed (my bed is raised very high to handle the over-the-top things I store under there such as this, ha). I have always said, and will continue to say, that I love a good theme and color scheme, and Christmas is the brightest and best “theme” of the year. Though it is so much more than all the red and green and festive parties, the festive fashion aspect of it is particularly fun to write about. I don’t do red or forest green very often, but when I do, you can bet that it’s on the days after Thanksgiving and before New Year’s Eve…

This outfit is Christmas-party ready, complete with a forest green bag, statement scalloped shoes, and a big ol’ bow. 🙂 I can’t help but think that I definitely haven’t strayed far from how I used to dress as a little girl around Christmas s time— 20ish years later and I’m still adorning huge bows and scalloped shoes ?. Hopefully this outfit, and the gorgeous decorated street I’m on, inspires you to take full advantage of any festive clothing items or accessories you may have (even if you don’t have a full bin of them hidden under your bed— which is abnormal so I wouldn’t expect that…). xx
