Meow. When I saw these kitty cat ears in the Target dollar section the other day I couldn’t help but pick them up along with this under $20 leopard sweater. The whole ensemble is slightly over-the-top but in a Halloween chic kind of way, right?! Do I need a costume party as an excuse to wear pink sequin cat ears again? LMK ?

I spent this past weekend in my favorite place to ever exist, Richmond, Virginia. It honestly just felt so normal being back, as I am still so close to all of my friends who are still in school. I will admit that I 100% acted like I was back in college (think: wearing a kid’s princess dress and dancing on elevated surfaces and literally screaming), and I made the absolute most of it. All of my girlfriends from my year came back as well and together we ate queso, drank mimosas, interrogated our Littles about their lives as seniors, danced like we were crazy people (we are), and doubled over laughing SO hard throughout the weekend.

I only lost my chill about three times and couldn’t help but shed big alligator tears (so embarrassing, I know) because I miss my girlfriends, my old lifestyle, and the overall place Richmond so, SO much, but also because I am so thankful that I had such a life altering college experience. It is something I will forever remember as being the best time ever. Thankfully, your girlfriends don’t go away after college, and I am lucky enough to get to annoy them for the rest of our lives.  (Read more about my college experience here if you’re interested 🙂 ).

I hope everyone has a purrrfect Halloween today! Definitely go with the costume that’s a little more over-the-top. 😉 xx
