Christmas Pajamas

Yesterday was the first day in as long as I can remember that I did not wake up to an alarm. I thought I would casually wake up around 10 am, but no… I woke up at 1:00 in the afternoon. And that was only because my dad came in to check my pulse. I probably could have slept well into dinner time. I was shocked because I never, EVER do this. I am a firm believer in early morning coffee drinking and productivity. However, the end of the semester craziness with holiday parties, finals, and traveling home (not to mention the Jingle Ball concert my sister and I went to the night I got back…) got the best of me and I needed an entire day of rest.
Thankfully I changed out of my pajamas long enough to go on a quick run– (I just started watching House of Cards, so I have a new reason to run on the treadmill!) but then I got right back into my PJs to go for a car ride through the holiday light show near me! Spending almost a whole day in my pajamas got me thinking about the ones I wear for Christmas. Each year on Christmas Eve my mom gives my little sister and me a new pair of Christmas pajamas. They are usually coordinating in some way (we sisters have grown up wearing matching holiday get-ups..) and are extremely cozy to sleep in on Christmas Eve. This tradition inspired me to share a few festive pajamas that I would love to snuggle up in the night before Christmas!
