These images embody so much of what I love about August… the crisp bay breeze, sleepy sunflowers in every garden, and the hazy sun, seemingly tired from blazing all summer long. I had a similar type of weekend the past few days and was so thankful to relax and reboot. I tried to get my allergies under control (WHY am I having them at this time of year, let me know) and clocked in 12 hours of sleep on Saturday night. I caught up on the RHONY and my email, watched my mom play tennis, and ate a lot of peanut butter ice cream. It was a dream of a weekend, really 🙂 .

 I picked up this coral lace romper the other day and really love how bold and flirty it is. I’m wearing it with lace up espadrilles now, but am planning on wearing it with little brown booties in September. I can also totally see myself pulling it back out for Halloween… paired with a witch’s hat of course. 😉 I usually have no problem spending $90 on a piece of clothing that I can at least get three good wears out of, because then it’s really like spending $30 on it, right?! ha. Either way, it’s gorgeous and runs true to size, so scoop it up now while you can! xx
