Coterie Party Cocoon Picnic
I’ve been known to pack party supplies on trips before ?so you better believe that I was ecstatic to be able to set up a “cocoon picnic” in Aruba with Coterie Party's new “Beach Vibes” party set! Talking all about their company, party sets, (and that one time I almost got arrested)...

I’ve been known to pack party supplies on trips before (not that that’s a shocker)… and have always found a way to sneak a few festive paper cups, straws, or party décor supplies into my suitcase. There was even that one time on our spring break of our senior year of college when we were en route to the Hard Rock in the Dominican Republic and my girlfriends and I were all on the same flight down (see my “Hard Rock Travel Diary“)… I got the idea to make “Cockpit Cocktail Kits” (or so I called them ?) which entailed a festive bag with a banana leaf tumbler, pineapple/flamingo straws, a watermelon drink umbrella, a cocktail napkin, a coaster (yes), a little shirtless man to “mark” your drink, mini bottles of alcohol, and LOTS of crinkle paper to really make it over-the-top.
You better believe my girlfriends and I had an absolute TIME breaking out those little Cockpit Cocktail Kits on the plane and mixing our drinks… only to soon find out from a not-so-pleased flight attendant that it’s a FELONY to bring and OPEN your own alcohol on a plane. Let alone on an international flight… buzz kill. There was one moment when I put on my sunglasses and re-applied my lipgloss (#priorities) in case I had to get off the plane and face a mug shot (I was the orchestrator of this little air-born cocktail party after all ?).
The point of that little senior year memory is that I’m almost always packing some party supplies for trips to make cocktails on the balcony or your best friend’s birthday while you’re on vacation just a little bit more special. SO, you can imagine how thrilled I was to test out Coterie Party’s new “Beach Vibes” party collection in Aruba. I had some free time before lunch one day, and saw that one of the hanging cocoons was open… so I did what I know best, and set up a “cocoon picnic” in under 5 minutes. ?Then, we ordered the Aruba Marriott Stellaris’s poolside lunch service to the cocoon. Yes, if that’s not vacation party mood then I don’t know what is.
I was first introduced to Coterie Party before they even launched, and then was beyond excited to test out their “Amalfi Blues” set when they launched in February. I ended up bringing that set with me to celebrate one of my best friend’s birthdays in NYC (see: always traveling with party goods ha), and it was such a hit with my girlfriends. The beauty of Coterie Party, and the thing that makes them so different from any other party décor company, is that they curate party supply sets (luxe and elevated ones may I add!) to make purchasing everything, and setting it all up, literally effortless. There are sets for birthdays, baby showers, your patriotic backyard BBQ, and more. It’s the ultimate dream for both the avid party planner (like your crazy best friend who brings “Cocktail Cockpit Kits” onto planes) OR the gal who is intimidated by hosting an upcoming baby shower but still wants it to be adorable. Coterie Party is your party problem solver. 🙂
It’s female-founded, colorful, innovative, and bold all at once. All that and a party?! I’m IN. It’s the type of brand that I will love and celebrate for a long time to come! They are the sweetest and are offering a special discount for 15% off your orders with the code ‘PINK15.’ Consider it an excuse to start party planning NOW! ? xx
Much love to Coterie Party for sponsoring this post, and thank you for supporting the brands that support I Believe in Pink!
