Fall Break!
So thankful that I got to go back to Jersey over my FALL BREAK! It was wonderful to come home to my sweet family, my favorite meals, and my fabulous dog! Naturally, my mom had the house all decked out in fall/Halloween decorations- so it felt cozy the whole time I was there. She also surprised me by re-decorating my bedroom (pictures to follow in a later post)– it was difficult going back…

She also surprised me by re-decorating my bedroom (pictures to follow in a later post)– it was difficult going back to my tiny dorm room!
This is how I spent my nights during break… along with my boyfriend, my dog, and the latest season of New Girl.
During my break I went to dinner in New York City at Cellini, had lunch with my best and oldest friend, and went apple picking. (Notice that all of these activities include eating? Struggles of living off of cafeteria food at school…)
Cellini was absolutely delicious! It is a quaint Italian restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. We had dinner with my parents and it was really fun being in the city– I don’t visit it enough! I just love NYC.
This is the magnificent Maddie. We’ve been friends since we were three (when both of our moms put HUGE hot pink bows in our hair). We got the chance to catch up and eat breakfast at the Kitchen Witch— so happy to see her!
This is the beautiful apple orchard Chris & I found not far from our houses. I am holding a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks (where else?) and it was DELICIOUS.
Chris going too far (up the tree) to find the perfect apple.
Um, Chris’s head looks really big here. I promise you it’s not that big in real life. (okay, maybe just a little larger than average…) But it’s rare that he’s smiling AND his eyes are open the same picture, so I’ll take what I can get.
We had a blast at the apple/pumpkin orchard. Unfortunately we couldn’t find the perfect pumpkin, so we gathered all of the pretty apples we could find and then drove over to Delicious Orchards to pick out pumpkins there and buy an apple pie (lame, I know, we should have made the pie ourselves!) But any excuse to go to Delicious Orchards!
This picture is from my Pinterest. I love it so much that I just had to include it because October is just that special. Full of family, pumpkin spice lattes, and my J. Crew vest, (which I never took off!) I had a lovely Fall Break. Happy October everyone!
