Girls Just Wanna Have Sun

I think that the most asked questions I’ve received in the past few week or so have been all about the welcome gift baskets I put together for my girlfriends when they came to visit Long Beach Island at the end of July. 

Before they came, we had all been a part for the longest period of time for us yet, so I knew I wanted to have an extra special welcome for them! 😊 I joked on my Instagram stories that I have a bunch of pent up energy from not planning the Lilly influencer trips anymore, so I guess this was my way of getting that out 😊. 

I ended up finding these little embroidered basket bags on Etsy (they are currently 60% off and on sale for $12.80!!) so I couldn’t pass them up! I decided to go with all white embroidery so that everyone could coordinate and the bags would go with everything.

They were able to do each name that I requested (you just type the names you want into the little box under the list of colors that are available) and they ended up shipping to me in five days, which I was super impressed with as well. And I’ve already found myself using my straw bag as a little purse when I’m going out to dinner or just to bop around town. It can fit a mini wallet, your cell phone, and a mask!

I had them sitting on the beds where each of my girlfriends were staying and they ended up being such a hit with them when they opened them up! I filled them up with the following items as well…

It ended up being a really fun combination of accessories, sugar, and a little touch of beauty! It was perfect for a girl’s weekend and could easily work for a Bachelorette weekend too– maybe toss in a mini bottle of champs instead of the La Croix?!
