I’m writing this at the end of January, before our wedding week has even begun (because I won’t officially be working that week!), and am currently looking at our suitcases sprawled out on our apartment living room floor, ready to be loaded up with everything for our honeymoon…

We decided to leave for our honeymoon right after our wedding, so we’re flying out from Florida on the Monday after our wedding weekend. We figured this would be the perfect opportunity to take a dream trip that is FAR away, since what’s a better excuse for that than your honeymoon?!

SO, we are spending a week in the Maldives and then a few nights in Dubai, and truly cannot believe we are heading there. Neither of us have been to South Asia before, and we’ve heard so many incredible things. We are very excited to just relax, snorkel, sit on the beach, play cards and read books, and eat and drink our heart’s desire. 😂

As for my packing list, I am sticking to a pretty minimal color palette of white, pink, and black– and letting my accessories do the talking with lots of sparkle and tropical shades. Of course when it came to fabrics and textures, I went with a more is more approach (who? me?? 😉) and you’ll find terrycloth, ruffles, sequins, and lace. All are easy, no fuss styles that I can throw on for the beach or dinner… or a beachside dinner. 😊
