I Believe in Pink Turns 1!
I’m celebrating a very special event this week! It is the ONE YEAR anniversary of my first blog post! October 21st of last fall, I published my very first post. I continued to write posts and play around with Blogger, but it wasn’t until January that I told any of my friends that I had started a blog. I’m celebrating a very special event this week! It is the ONE YEAR anniversary of my first blog post! October 21st of last fall, I published my very first post. I continued to write posts and play around with Blogger, but it wasn’t until January that I told any of my friends that I had started a blog. I had only told my mom and my boyfriend, and they were so concerned that I would talk about HTML coding and Search Engine Optimization during sorority recruitment in January…. ha! thank goodness I kept that to myself. It took a whole lot of template formatting, color choices (I probably changed the shade of pink I use in my title 10 times…) and courage to get to the point where I was ready to reveal that I had acted on my idea to be a lifestyle and fashion blogger.
Now, I am so thankful that I finally gained the confidence to share my writing and pictures with everyone! I never realized what opportunities would come from I Believe in Pink and all of the fabulous people I would have the pleasure to know through the blogging world. It is truly a community of gorgeous, supportive, talented women who all share a passion for living life to the fullest and sharing its little moments along the way. I am so thankful that I get to be a part of something that has become bigger and more amazing than I could have ever imagined. And it is all due to my lovely followers and all of the support and encouragement they give me every day!!
So in honor of my 1 year anniversary, I am showing my love to everyone who has helped me out along the way, with a party dress and a gold heart balloon, of course. And I am also announcing a new change to my domain name, (drumroll please):
www.amybelievesinpink.com!!!
So official, I know! It is definitely easier to remember and faster to type! If you have been so kind as to bookmark my blog on your homepage, make a quick change to this new domain name and remember it for when you visit I Believe in Pink in the future!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite posts up to this point– because what is a blog without it’s blog posts?! Here are a few that have a special place in my blog-loving heart:
This was my “debut” post that I wrote to tell everyone about my blog. I was so nervous to share it, but it got amazing feedback and I decided to continue blogging.
This was my first collaboration post with other bloggers. I adore Prep In Your Step, and had such a fun time having breakfast in bed.
My love for Theta and my big is unreal. I wrote this post soon after I joined Theta, and had the best time putting together these pictures and gushing about how happy I am be a sister! (black and gold is the new pink and green…)
There are so many wonderful memories in this post as I counted down my top 20 favorite photos on my 20th birthday! Baby pictures are my absolute favorite.
“I’m Twenty!”
Celebrating the big 2-0 with a darling pink dress and a huge balloon (seeing a pattern here??). These may be my all time favorite blog photos I have ever taken. Even though I have ice cream dripping all down my arm… hey, I never said it was all glamour.

I am an avid celebrator of the 4th of July. This shoot is so special to me because I got to do it with my sister, my dog, and my best friends on the beach we have grown up on during the summers. It turned out beautifully and truly captures our American girl spirits and endless summer mentalities.
My obsession with the University of Richmond only gets stronger the more time I am in college. I love showing my pride and wearing my school colors, and it clearly shows in this game day outfit!
I am so happy to share my blog’s birthday with you today! I am looking forward to many more years of playing dress-up, sharing the latest sales and trends I’m loving, and journaling about my every day life full of silly stories, special moments, and a whole lot of pink!
p.s. Remember the newly changed www.amybelievesinpink.com (yay!!)
