I’m so very excited to share with you something extra fun I’ve been working on!! Introducing the sister brand to I Believe in Pink… Savvy Shopper. It’s an email newsletter that curates all of the best online sales that are occuring given a certain time, brought to you by the team at I Believe in Pink as well as a boisterous, dirty-martini-drinking chick named Savvy… I know you’re probably a bit perplexed so I’ll get right to it:

Who is Savvy?

She’s a sassy, smart, and low-key crazy shopper (an alter ego, could you say??), who has the potential to become your new email bestie. She promises that she won’t spam you (she has no patience for pointless emails) and will only pop in your inbox when the best deals are going on, to make sure you know about them first. And she promises that every time she does, she will bring the party.

Why did you create Savvy Shopper?

Because I’m so tired and bored of sifting through the “promotions” tab in my Gmail, finding out about amazing sales too late in the game, and missing the best deals entirely because I’m trying to keep up with everything else. I’m an extremely busy girl-on-the-go and dreamed of an email newsletter (I don’t even want to have to go to a website! ha) that would tell me all of the best sales going on, as well as the coolest products within them, all in one place so it’s QUICK and EASY. So naturally, I went ahead and made one.

How do you know the best sales going on?

Well, I’ve been blogging and sharing sales for three years now (which in Blogging Years, is a long time), I have accumulated all of the best resources, tricks, and tips, for sale shopping, and I’ve considered myself a *heavy shopper* for all of my life 😉 . Now that I have this outlet to focus on sharing sales, I can’t even imagine how better I’m going to be on staying on top of them all to get them to your inboxes!

Dearest Savvy Shopper,

Twenty-two and a half years ago, about 48 hours after I was born, I went to a Talbots. That’s right. On my way home from the hospital my mother and grandmother decided it would be a smart idea to “swing by the Talbot’s sale to pick up a few things.” So there I was. Not even a full three days into this world, adorned in a sweet white “welcome home” baby gown. In. A. Talbots. Store.  I’d say that was my first true sale shopping experience. And the rest, well…

Now, meet Savvy. She’s your smart, sassy, border-line inappropriate new best friend who scours the web for the best sales and the hottest items within them. Think of her as your sorority sister, personal shopper, and that girl who goes tipsy to Target and maxes out her debit card on cheeky cocktail napkins and gold foil stationery #beenthere. Her goal is to collect all the fab, fun, popular and secret sales that are going on at a given time and put them all in one place so you have easy access to everything at once. No more sifting through the v un-glamorous “Promotions” tab of gmail. Or getting to a sale mid-way through only to realize that all the XS liquid leather leggings are sold out. TG.

So now you can get back to your Very Important life happenings, whether you’re still living that fake college life and Recruitment is your biggest worry, or you’re a post-grad going through shopaholic withdrawal because you’re learning how to “budget.” Girl, we get you. And we can all agree that sale shopping, or “spending to save” as my mother still calls it, is the very best adrenaline rush.

So now I’m going to hand it off to Savvy from here because she’s much hotter (albeit a cartoon) and has a lot more time to spend lying in bed with a mixie and her laptop, collecting all of the best deals and steals around to share with YOU.
