Today is an extra fun TGIF!! One of my longtime favorite brands, Lauren James, is having an out-of-control sale that you need to peruse right now (seriously, styles are going out of stock fast!).

I’ve always loved the story of the brand, in which the founder, Lauren Stokes, was put on bed rest for ten weeks when she was pregnant with her first child. During that, she started sketching dresses to pass the time. Fast-forward and she had her sweet son and decided not to go back to her former job as a nurse and instead founded Lauren James.

She was featured in Forbes 30 under 30 this year and is a total boss babe. In this article she says that her “power item” is pink lipstick… when I read that online I literally said “AMEN” out loud, ha! You know I love supporting other women-founded and run businesses more than anything, and the combination of that along with the gorgeous quality apparel, and lovely, charming branding, makes it one of my top clothing companies to follow and shop.
