Life Lately
Hey hey! So I am currently celebrating the fact that my first year of college is DONE. I am in denial. Time needs to start slowing down right now because this is craziness. I am not a sophomore. Hey hey! So I am currently celebrating the fact that my first year of college is DONE. I am in denial. Time needs to start slowing down right now because this is craziness. I am not a sophomore. I am not ready to be this old!! I wanted to share what I’ve been up to these last few weeks of the semester. Naturally it includes playing dress up in the Lilly Pulitzer, walking around in the April rain showers, and packing up my closet to bring home (which is not an easy job, let me tell you).
This pink seersucker dress is perfection.
And this pattern reminds me of vintage Lilly! I’ve since been eyeing Lilly’s summer collection as well…
April showers on campus.
Beautiful May flowers are all over Richmond! They tend to invest a lot of time into the landscaping– outside my dorm the word “SPIDER” is spelled out in blue flowers. There’s also an outline of a spider right next to it… I don’t hate it.
I pulled out my Sperrys for spring! Check me out on Sperry’s top 10 #TOPSIDING posts of the week on Instagram!
Also I just got these amazing Kappa Alpha Theta shirts from The Embroidery Shop. They have dozens of Lilly patterns and glitter monograms for your sorority letter shirts! These have been one of my favorite purchases in a long time.
Speaking of recent purchases… I got this monogrammed clutch from Benevolent Jewels, (which has a gold chain attached to it to make it a cross body) along with these tortoise shell gem stone earrings! Benevolent Jewels is one of my favorite accessory shopping websites because at the end of every three months, they donate 20% of their profit to a different philanthropy! I cannot wait to style these when I get home!!
My Easter Sunday attire. It felt good to take a break from school, curl my hair, put on some pink lipstick, and go to church off campus! It also didn’t hurt that it was an absolutely gorgeous day.
After church on Easter I went to brunch with all of my girlfriends and my good friend Kelly’s parents at The Continental Westhampton in Richmond. (she’s my roomie for next year… we have big plans for our dorm room!)
We had a delicious meal where an obnoxious amount of eating and laughter occurred. Kelly’s mom gave us all these adorable Easter treat bags full of gummies, chocolate, and pink Easter straw! Of course I had to keep the bag and wrapping paper– I seriously have a gift bag hoarding problem…
A last look at my cramped, overstuffed, yet colorful and cheery closet before it was time to pack it all up! I’m going to miss my little nook of a dorm room. But I am definitely looking forward to having a long double-door closet when I get home!!
I received Belgian chocolate covered oreos from my mom mid-finals week. They had daisies on them because the symbol of the Westhampton women’s college within the University of Richmond is the daisy! I was very thankful for this delicious treat! Daisy love from my mom.
Today I am leaving for Myrtle Beach where I am going to stay with my sorority and celebrate the end of the semester! I hope you are having a good end of spring/beginning of summer!
xxAmy
