Finally sharing part two to our Mermaid Loft reveal: the bathroom. We wanted a seamless transition from sea to shower that left you feeling like you were tucked inside a seashell. We went with calming sea foam greens and blues, along with off whites, with details that mimic the sea: seaglass tiling, capiz shell lighting, and nautical rope accents. And of course we wear our “Lets Be Mermaid” tanks on REPEAT while hanging out in the loft. If you’re secretly a mermaid-wannabe and low-key obsessed with having a shimmery ombré tail and using a conch as a cell phone, then you need. Throw this tank over a bikini and you’re instant Ariel.

Shout out to my mamma + little sister for literally putting the whole house back together after the renovation while I was at school then work. Pretty sure they moved everything back in before the paint was even dry (I remember walking through the Mermaid Loft in socks because the painted wood floors were still tacky!). When you have a decor vision as pretty and magical as “mermaid-themed” then you just have to move everything in and get it set up as soon as possible 🙂
