My Little’s Room Decorations
What better way to start this week then to share my Little’s room reveal? This is the last post from the Big/Little process. On the day of the Big/Little reveal, each Big decorates the dorm room of their Little. I did this for Elizabeth and here are final results! Just me casually in my car with 50+ balloons on my way over to her dorm…

What better way to start this week then to share my Little’s room reveal? This is the last post from the Big/Little process. On the day of the Big/Little reveal, each Big decorates the dorm room of their Little. I did this for Elizabeth and here are final results!
Just me casually in my car with 50+ balloons on my way over to her dorm to start decorating… don’t worry, they weren’t all pink.
The outside of her room. I used a gold foil door curtain to frame the entrance of her door.
The final poem of the week!
… Ta da!!!
50+ balloons in the happiest of colors and polka dots.
A look at her desk… complete with a monogram tray, a glitter tumbler, a box with black and gold earrings, a Theta Lilly Pulitzer frame, and a gold “Princess Little” jewelry tray that I made.
I might have put a few things on her bed… including lots of my old Theta t-shirts, a few canvases I made, the Theta Lilly Pulitzer scarf, the Theta Lilly Pulitzer tote, and the Lilly letters I made her.
I added a bit of confetti and glitter as well (guilty: I used two HUGE bags of star confetti and a BOTTLE of glitter, clearly I have no self control when it comes to these things).
Here’s a closer look at Lilly letters and the monogram big/little sis shirts I got from the Initialed Life. I made the letters by cutting up the filler paper from old Lilly Pulitzer planners and gluing these small pieces of paper to the wooden letters. I used mod podge to keep all of the pieces of paper in place and give the letters a glossy finish.
A closer look at the canvases that I made and had laid out on Elizabeth’s bed! I found a lot of my inspiration for canvases on Pinterest. Check out my Kappa Alpha Theta board, which has ideas for all sorority crafts!
This banner was my favorite part of the room. The night before I decorated, I took up the whole hallway in my dorm and made the banner (obnoxious crafting at it’s finest). I freehanded the monogram so thankfully it didn’t turn out too horribly.
Huge shout out to my Big, Liza Bart, because we decorated the whole room together. Thankfully she kept my focus the whole time as I ran around like a nut untangling balloons, sprinkling confetti, and arranging t-shirts, canvases, and gifts.

Clearly, I am all crafted and decorated out. But Big/Little week was honestly one of my favorite weeks of my life and definitely one of my best college memories so far! There are few things that make me happier than colorful decorations, pretty goodies, and spending time with the people I adore, like my Big and Little!!
Check out the “Meet My Little” and the “Sorority Crafts & Gifts” posts to see the Big/Little reveal (which occurred right after Elizabeth saw her room decorated..) and for more sorority craft ideas!
