This chick got a lob!!! I took the plunge last week and chopped off about 5 inches. I’ve been thinking about changing up my hair for a while now because it’s recently become stringy, flat, and takes a long time to style and maintain. Therefore the lob sounded like the perfect way to get a clean, fresh, ready-for-spring cut!

I got it done at Salon del Sol, which is an Aveda salon, in the Village right by Richmond’s campus. My hair stylist was Miko, and I have to give her credit because she dealt with all of my pre-haircut nervousness– I was a wreck! I had previously perused my favorite outlet to find inspiration, Pinterest, and took note of how other girls styled their lobs. So far my hair feels amazing (low key feel like Kelly Ripa..) and I could not be happier with the change! It now has the potential to grow out healthy and renewed– it’s the perfect fresh start I was craving! 

p.s. I ended up buying this thickening tonic from the salon which is awesome— I spray it all over my hair when it’s damp and it gives it so much more volume and body which is exactly what I was looking for.
