Happy National Wear Your Lilly Day and first official day of summer! If you are a Lilly Pulitzer enthusiast like I am, then you are probably wearing Lilly as you read this. On all of Lilly’s agendas, today is marked as a national holiday (as it should be!). I grew up wearing Lilly as a little girl, and I see myself being an overly colorful grandma still wearing it’s bright patterns and bold designs (my mom has saved all of my childhood Lilly– so my future children are covered!) I completely relate to the ideals of Lilly, and understand why Jackie Kennedy fell in love with her first designs– which were made from kitchen curtain material! So today, I am putting on some of my favorite Lilly items and celebrating a company that is more than a just a brand– it is a way of life. After all, my blog’s tagline is a Lilly quote:
