Red Bank Blogger Crawl

Two weekends ago, on June 6th, I had the pleasure of being a part of my first ever blogger crawl! Two weekends ago, on June 6th, I had the pleasure of being a part of my first ever blogger crawl! Another blogger who lives in my hometown, Carrie Drazin, of It’s Droolworthy, contacted the local bloggers she knew and organized a day for us to all meet, mingle, and shop!

Here are the links to all of the bloggers who were involved…

Basically, we were each assigned to two stores in Red Bank, the cute downtown area nearby, to feature on our blogs. We all went into Red Bank together to “crawl” from shop to shop, similar to a bar crawl except with boutiques! So after meeting for pastries and lots of pictures in the morning, (we are bloggers, after all…) we went into Red Bank and visited each store on the crawl!

I chose to feature the boutiques Cabana 19 and Dor L’ Dor, two of my long-time favorite spots in Red Bank for inexpensive and unique clothing, accessories, and gifts.

My first stop was Cabana 19, which is an adorable beachy boutique, with all of the preppy goodies you could ever want. They even do their own monogramming, which has gotten me into trouble in the past… (I monogrammed the outside pocket of my Barbour coat once… it’s getting out of hand)
Take a look at my shopping venture!

Tassel scarves, mini totes, and that reversible bag I keep talking about but STILL have yet to buy!

“Oh, do you think I could fit into these kid sized pink and green pom pom cover ups??”

Monogram necklaces and pretty patterned Scout bags galore… makes my color-loving heart happy.

After going to a few stores that were hosting the other bloggers on the crawl, we went to Dor L’ Dor, which has always been one of my favorite places to find trendy, inexpensive clothes. They have everything from co-ords to basic graphic T’s, and everything is so fun that it’s difficult not to want it all!

They have a whole table of Flying Monkey pants, which have always fit me really well (and it’s rare for a 5′ 1″ girl to find pants that fit her, so this is a big deal– I’m wearing their white pants here!!). I may have tried on  a few of those…

Here I am being all googly eyed over a pair of beaded cutoff shorts… totally unnecessary yet totally necessary (they came home with me!).

I had such a wonderful time meeting the other bloggers on the crawl and running around Red Bank with them. They were so sweet, personable, creative, and passionate– my favorite kind of people 🙂  Be sure to take a look at the experiences they had throughout the day on the crawl! And look out for an Instagram giveaway that we’re doing coming up soon, featuring one of Red Bank’s coolest and most popular stores…

I’d love to hear if you’re a local NJ blogger as well, and we will for sure include you on the next blogger crawl!
