A Gift for Every Coffee Lover
Here’s a little history about my journey with coffee this past year– When Johnny and I moved into our apartment a little over a year ago, we decided to forgo my former Keurig and opt for a more traditional coffee pot instead. We wanted the ability to make a few cups of coffee at once (#necessary), and adjust the strength of the coffee depending on how many scoops of coffee grounds we put into it.
Our switch proved to be such a success that we’ve used our coffee pot almost every day since then! My favorite perk of this has been our ability to try so many delicious flavors of ground coffee– and also how inexpensive it is compared to k-cups. I would say that about 99% of my friends and family are coffee enthusiasts too, which brings me to my ultimate holiday gift recommendation for just about everyone.
The two gifts I’m about to share could appeal to so many people, but I thought they’d be particularly appropriate as a gift for your in-laws (or boyfriend or girlfriend’s parents) or your co-workers (because who needs coffee more than your boss who answers your emails at all hours or your work-wife who saves you from countless work emergencies?!).
These holiday gift sets are the best way to say ‘happy holidays and here’s some delicious caffeine on me’ with a guarantee that they’ll love it. They’re both from Bean Box, which is a coffee subscription service based out of Seattle. They’ve partnered with the nation’s top coffee roasters (all of which are US small businesses) to allow exclusive small-batch artisanal coffees to be delivered to our homes. How cool?!
I’ve received and have been testing out two of Bean Box’s holiday gifts, so here are my mini reviews below!
My Bean Box Gift Recommendations
Deluxe Coffee + Chocolate Tasting Box— This box contains eight gourmet coffees that are matched with various decadent chocolates! It comes with a card that details which coffee to try with which chocolate, so it makes it a true tasting experience, which is so much fun. It ships for free and you can get it for 15% off with my code AMY15 (which is good for orders over $40!). There’s also a smaller version of the coffee + chocolate tasting box that’s $40 too!!
Twelve Mornings of Coffee Advent Calendar— This is such a fun gift– the recipient can open up a new coffee flavor each morning! The coffee flavors include Bean Box’s limited edition holiday blends with tasting notes such as roasted chestnut, cranberry, and sugar and spice (how festive?!). Johnny and I are going to have a new coffee flavor every morning starting December 1st! It ships for free and you can get it for 15% off with my code AMY15 (which is good for orders over $40!).
Why Bean Box is Unique
It’s true that you can get coffee from just about anywhere, but in my partnership with Bean Box I’ve learned a little bit about what makes them stand out.
First, we’ve all had a delicious, rich cup of coffee at a café before, and the secret to coffee shop-quality coffee is small batch, freshly roasted coffee beans (which, spoiler alert: you can’t always find at grocery stores because they oftentimes sell coffee that has been in shipping containers and warehouses for months). So, every bag of Bean Box coffee is freshly roasted and packed/delivered to you almost immediately. That’s why it has the café-quality taste!
Next, Bean Box only sources their coffee from small business coffee roasters located in the US. Every one of their coffee flavors is personally selected by their in-house coffee curators who have experience judging award-winning coffees at competitions (now how do I get that job).
Lastly, these are the gifts that keep on giving– anyone who receives one of these can enjoy it for days or weeks after they receive it. Also, these gifts come ready in a beautifully presented box– just add a bow or a card to it if you want! I swear this is the coffee Santa fuels up with before the big night. 😉
Use the code AMY15 for 15% off orders over $40 on Bean Box’s site!
Thank you to Bean Box for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. And thank you for supporting the brands that support my site!
