I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas season! I have been enjoying exchanging gifts, lounging in my festive pjs, and walking around New York City– wanted to share the merriest moments of my Christmas break so far!
The night Chris and I celebrated Christmas before he left me in rainy New Jersey for sunny Antigua for a few days (I’m still bitter…)
Celebrating my friend Maddie’s 19th birthday! Yes, I am wearing a martini glass headband… it’s called a “Party on Your Head” and I got it at Bizarre Bazaar, the Richmond craft show this year!
My Christmas Eve Day outfit. All J. Crew, including the forest green cords, that are now on sale for $69.99 online with an extra 40% off with the code SHOPHAPPY!
Also, always loving my silver monogrammed necklace. Take a look at Personalized From Me to You if you’re a fellow monogram-a-holic.
My outfit for Christmas Day. {J. Crew pajama pants and slippers}
After opening gifts and eating my mom’s famous Christmas morning sticky buns, we watched Love Actually and Pride and Prejudice— and I LOVED THEM BOTH! I was always hesitant about watching Pride and Prejudice (my mom’s favorite movie) because I thought it would make me cry, but it was such a sweet and happy romantic film!
The tree in Penn Station after we got off the train… everything is bigger than life in NYC!
Of course my mom, sister, and I had to stop by the Lilly Pulitzer signature store on the Upper East Side in New York. Absolutely loved the hand painted mural of Lilly herself, the framed vintage prints, and the decorative wall quotes! One wall said: “darling, it’s a Lilly (of course)” How cute is that? Lilly never disappoints.
Before seeing Mamma Mia on Broadway, we stopped by the tree at Rockefeller Center, and it was magnificent.
Cue cliché sister pic in front of the tree (come on, we had to).
Now that the Christmas season is over, it’s on to the New Year!! Best wishes!
