The ultimate swimsuit shopping guide for all prices

Shop these Swimsuits

I can tell by my rewardStyle analytics (that tracks what people purchase through the links that I share) that a few of you are shopping for swimsuits right now! Winter getaways, spring breaks, and spontaneous tropical vacations to escape the cold are all reasons to spoil yourself with some new swim. 🙂

But #realtalk: swimsuits are such a hard thing to pick out and shop for– especially online. There are so many things to take into consideration– quality, shape, trend, price, etc. I decided to focus on price for this roundup so I could appropriately cater to whatever price point you’d like to stick around.

You may be picking out swimsuits for your college spring break and don’t want to spend more than $25 for a bikini top. OR, you may be going on nice vacation with your significant other and want to invest in a really flattering style that’s a little nicer. Maybe you’re doing a girls getaway and need a few new suits that are on-trend and Instagram ready?! You can get those for under $25, I got you. 😉

SO. I’ve done the hard part for you– scouring the web for the cutest suits out there right now. I searched through my favorite spots to shop for suits– Lilly Pulitzer, Aerie {their swim is currently 30%-50% off!}, SheIn, Everything But Water, Revolve, Target, ASOS, Shopbop, Forever 21, and Romwe. You’ll find my curated recommendations below, many of which I’ve worn and shared before. Hopefully some of these end up being worn on a gorgeous beach or a fun hot tub at some point this spring or summer…

Questioning ordering from SheIn or Romwe?!

Their bathing suits are so cheap it almost seems too good to be true… I get it.

BUT I’ve found that their bathing suits work for me about 90% of the time though. My tips would be to order them at least three weeks before you’re going on your trip because they take about ten days to arrive. Also, I have definitely had better luck with the tops fitting better than the bottoms, so they’re the perfect suits to mix and match with higher-end bottoms that you may already have. I’ve also found that Aerie has great basic, solid colored bottoms in multiple shapes if you’re looking to stock up on some to mix and match with more fun, trendy tops!

Bottom line: the SheIn and Romwe suits are so inexpensive that you can order two sizes of the same suit and it will still be cheaper than buying a suit from Target. Definitely worth the try for a fun spring-break type trip or if you’re looking to stock up on trendy suits that you will only have for a season or two!
