Hi hi and welcome to Part TWO of my trip to Paris!!! I wanted to share a few more photos from my time there. We had one full day off from our internship and used it for none other than… shopping and eating! I’m predictable, I know.

AROUND TOWN WITH THE EIFFEL TOWER

A classic Eiffel Tower photo bomb right by the Palais de Tokyo. I swear that every time I rounded a new corner I would unexpectedly catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower and gasp! Each time it completely surprised me to see how close it always was. It filled me with awe and never got old.

An Eiffel Tower selfie… because, how could we not?

WHERE I SHOPPED & ATE

Since it was a Sunday when we got our day off, few major stores were open. However, we found that most boutiques in the Le Marais area were open. On Sundays, the small winding streets in that area shut off all traffic to allow people to meander around and enjoy the day without being bothered by cars and street traffic.

Though LUSH is not a Parisian brand, I still could not resist stepping inside their store. I am obsessed with their bubble bars and their Fairy Dust— which is a light pink glitter dust that you can sprinkle over your entire body. YES, such a thing exists and I put it on every day and feel magical.

There was one particular boutique that I stumbled upon that stole my heart. It’s called Manoush, and it reminded me of a Parisian Betsey Johnson, with all of the wild leopard, whimsical colors, and flashy sequins. Needless to say I was swooning hard. Here’s a look at some of my favorite items!

The leopard. The white fur. The sequin and beaded pearl neckline… This coat. I can’t even. I just can’t.

This crochet dress is entirely embroidered with pearls… um, hello, yes.

Naturally I just had to take one of these gorgeous items home with me and this darling top had me sold. The pastel pink, crisp collar, and intricate jeweled beading made it unique and completely me, plus the fact that it’s lined with cozy sweatshirt material didn’t hurt either.  I’m thinking that it would be ideal to wear on Thanksgiving this year, thoughts??

So I weirdly happened to see a lot of pink things on this particular Sunday (like more than usual, ha), and this bike and funny little car caught my eye! I would like one of each please. Now, that is how to get around Paris.

We stopped by the street market in Le Marais and of course I wanted #alltheflowers. There is something so romantic about flower markets in Paris!

Even in Paris, you just cannot go wrong with pizza and wine. Always a winning combination and the best shopping fuel 🙂  This was at the Pink Flamingo in Le Marais!

We had a celebratory end-of-our-stay dinner at Bar du Central, an adorable street side cafe with Eiffel Tower views and the most delicious escargot (recommended to us by my Big who studied abroad in Paris last year!). I accessorized in an Hermès scarf and my fringe Kelly Wynne wristlet for an extra-Parisian chic look.

See! There’s the Eiffel Tower showing off again and peeking its way over the buildings! It has the biggest, most sparkling presence that I just loved.

In all, I’d have to say that Paris is one of my favorite destinations in the world. It is romantic, magical, breathtaking, and all around Parisian perfect. I will be back for sure, there’s no question about that!

with love from abroad, xo
