Valentine’s Day Style

There’s only one holiday that openly celebrates the color pink… Valentine’s Day! So you can imagine how giddy I get about getting to openly wear lots and lots of pink along with everyone else. However, I feel like there’s a stigma surrounding this holiday regarding the idea that you have to be in a relationship to have any fun on February 14th. I disagree. I think that we sometimes forget that Valentine’s Day is really about celebrating love in all its forms. And even if you don’t have a significant other, I’m sure you have a whole lot of loves in your life this year. Maybe it’s your adorable dog (my dog is the love of my life..), your best girlfriend who just got out of a relationship, your Dad who sends you a sweet Valentine’s card and some candy, or the new pair of shoes you just splurged on for yourself. Whatever your Valentine’s Day “love” is, I’m sure it holds a special place in your heart and is worth celebrating.

So put on a lacy dress– I already chose three for ya!– get out the celebratory champagne and candy hearts, and tell your Valentine how much you love them. I plan on Facetiming my dog… so I’ll be right there with you!
