Let’s talk about all of few of my (many) favorite things about summer; sand covered boardwalks, windswept hair, worn-in Jacks, the sunniest sunflowers, and white crochet two piece outfits. Today’s post pretty much includes all of the above, which automatically makes it one of my favorites of this summer:)

I had so much fun styling this all-white ensemble– complete with crochet detailing and a sweet halter silhouette– and even showing a little belly! #RealTalk: I’ll be honest, it can be difficult to be confident in every blog post (solo pics in public can be very #awk.. ha) and especially in my day to day life. With summer coming to a close and school starting back up, suddenly you’re seeing so many people for the first time in a few months and it’s easy to get caught up in everyone’s new look, new stuff, changed personality, etc.. You can start a day by drawing on perfect winged eyeliner and feeling like you’re ON TOP of the world, and then twelve hours later through a series of interactions and moments, somehow feel tired, awkward, and defeated.

So let me tell you, I GET YOU.

There’s a little of this in all of us, and even though self doubt and comparison are considered ugly qualities, they’re real and more widespread then you would think. For me to disprove these negative feelings, it usually takes a reminder that I am me for a reason and that I am loved and accepted by the very best people at my highest and at my lowest. Insecurities and comparison suck– so let your belly button show and throw some sunflowers in your tote, girl! You got this. xo
