This Month’s Amazon Picks
We just got back from the most fun and laidback trip to the insanely gorgeous St. Maarten! I’ll be sharing my travel diary for our whole stay soon, but in the meantime take a look at my packing list and Instagram posts from the trip. You’ll see a few items that I packed peppered into this post, along with our Master’s Sunday golf setup and scenes from the time I’ve recently spent in Central Park amidst the cherry blossom blooms!
Also, if you’re looking for even more warm weather/spring break fashion from Amazon, then definitely take a look at my ‘5 Warm Weather Looks from Amazon‘ blog post. And as always, feel free to reach out with any questions or requests for me to share more Amazon favorites for next month’s roundup! xx
white mini golf cart {$7} // green mini golf cart {$7} // golf napkins {$15} // golf ball plates {$11} // coffee table turf {$16.65 in ’20’x59′}
One of Johnny’s absolute favorite days of the year is Master’s Sunday, so we flew back from Vero Beach on the Saturday before so we could watch it in our apartment and have a few friends over! I of course wanted to get a little bit crazy with our set up, so I ordered this piece of turf to put on our coffee table, along with the cutest golf party decorations! I also printed out a few mini Masters flags and glued them to toothpicks to stick in the golf carts… insane but looked adorable 😊. I’d recommend these items for any golf-themed get together!
waterproof mascara {$6}
I debated getting fake eyelashes for our trip to St. Maarten because I didn’t want to deal with putting on and removing mascara (time is precious in paradise, ok!!), but then I decided against it and ordered this waterproof mascara instead, after seeing the insane reviews it had (over 21k ratings!). This mascara goes on dark, really elongated my eyelashes, and does NOT come off. It’s all I ended up using on my lashes and wound up being just as great as lash extensions because I could swim, snorkel, and shower with it on. Highly recommend it if you need an indestructible mascara– you can’t beat the $6 price too!
short sleeve cropped shirt {$19.90, wearing size XS in color ‘sand,’ runs true to size but size up one size if you want it to fall below your zipper}
I’m always looking out for soft, casual lounge tops that I can wear with joggers or jeans (and under pullovers too!) and this top is just that (my other favorite Amazon t-shirts are in this former Amazon roundup too!). It’s easy to throw on, only $20, and comes in five great basic colors. I’m eyeing the white one next!
frayed jean shorts {$28, wearing size S in ‘galaxy blue’, size up one size} // high waisted bikini {on SALE for $21, wearing the size XS, run TTS}
These are Amazon’s #1 best seller in ‘women’s denim shorts’ and I can completely see why. They’re not too tight or restricting for jean shorts (though I did size up a size), and the wash/wear is really great for the price. They come in a TON of different shades and button variations, so they’re a great place to start if you’re looking for an inexpensive pair of jean shorts for the summer. I paired them with this black bikini, which is the perfect simple and comfortable swimsuit option. Highly recommend it, especially for only $21!
beach sun hat {$22 in ’01-khaki’} // additional Amazon outfit details here
This hat is EVERYTHING. Lightweight, has great coverage despite not being too big, and goes with so many colors! I packed it with me for our trip to Vero Beach for Easter, and then somehow lost it in the airport on the way home (how). So I ended up buying it again for St. Maarten– it’s that good! You can find the rest of my outfit details (all Amazon finds) in my ‘5 Warm Weather Looks from Amazon‘ blog post.
rainbow pool float {$36} // bikini top c/o // bikini bottoms c/o // sunglasses
My sister, Jacqueline, brought this pool float to our trip to St. Maarten and I just had to include it because it was the cutest. There’s plenty of room to lay out on it and the white base of the float (the cloud 😊) doesn’t get too hot. Plus, who doesn’t want a rainbow floating in their pool?!
artificial orchid {$88}
I have to start out by saying RIP to the gorgeous trio of orchids that used to be in this spot. My mom optimistically gifted them to us when we moved in, and welp, they didn’t even make it to six months. So I went in search of a beautiful faux orchid to keep in their memory, and this one does a wonderful job of that! It’s about 15.5″ tall and comes in the prettiest gold pot, moss and all. It was $88, which is about what I’d spend on a similar set of orchids in NYC (if not more), but now at least I know that I cannot kill this one. When my friends were over to watch The Masters, they complimented it and couldn’t believe that it wasn’t real!!
peony quilt {$35} // wine glasses {use the code MOMSROCK for 15% off!} // similar dress
I was planning a picnic in Central Park, to enjoy the insanely beautiful blooming cheery blossoms, and needed a quilt for the occasion (naturally). I came across this one on Amazon and seriously couldn’t believe that it was only $35. It has pink peonies printed all over it, an adorable scalloped edge, and looks like it could be LoveShackFancy! It would be the prettiest gift for a little girl, or for your next park picnic. Note that it’s not huge and would only fit about 2-3 people comfortably.
wicker picnic basket {$35} // dress // similar headband
Of course what’s a picnic without a wicker picnic basket? This one is perfect to throw in a bottle of wine, a baguette, some cheese, and wine glasses (or a bunch of flowers as seen here 😊). The handles fold down and are easy to carry it as well. I highly recommend this for a practical mode of transporting picnic goodies, or just a really cute photo moment. 😊
