Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a ride-or-die pink girl through and through. The color pink literally has the ability to alter my mood and make me 10x happier. BUT every once in a while I like to shake things up a bit and give another color a fair chance, you know?! 😊

In addition, I happened to have recently found myself having a little crush on this particular shade of blue. I 100% blame Johnny, because his favorite color is blue, and five-ish years of dating him must have finally worn off on me. 😊So either way, Serena and Lily’s “french blue” shade has me seriously smitten. I couldn’t help but try out this bedding scenario in my room!

Confession: I’ve actually been eyeing this quilt for over a year now (I looked back at my tagged stories of Serena & Lily in my DMs and saw that I had shared the same quilt this time last year!). I just think there’s something so simple and charming about the block print pattern and soft blue and white colors. It’s coastal and country all at once, which puts me at ease every time I look at it. It’s funny how patterns and color combinations can do that to you, isn’t it?!

Serena and Lily does that SO well.

I paired it with some fresh greens that my roommate Caroline scooped up from the Rittenhouse farmer’s market (the local farmer’s market by where we live in Philadelphia), and my favorite wintery Anthropologie candle, the “Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon” scent. The greenery is so festive and the candle seriously smells like love and coziness and fresh baked Christmas cookies all at once. 😊

So what do you think? Do you like it more than my usual blush pink and gold (here’s a peek of my regular bedding), or should I change it back?! I’m ready to go into 2020 with a fresh start and new change, but I’m also ready to go into it with a whole lot of pink. 😊xx
