Gal in Gingham…

You guys… just call this top my summer staple… the hydrangea blue gingham, the chic cowl neck, the gorgeous oversized gold buttons lining the back… it’s so darling and easy! I’ve been so taken by it that I thought it deserved it’s own blog post entirely. 😊 I kept it simple and paired it with my go-to Old Navy rockstar skinny jeans (I swear by these– they’re so slimming!) + my metallic Jack wedges (linked a similar pair there!).

The cowl neck shape of the top may look familiar because I wore the tweed version of it (which is currently on sale!) back in this post. It’s the perfect top to wear when you want to throw your hair in an easy low bun and just get out the door. I’m pretty sure my hair was down for about three minutes while I snapped these pics, and then up it went to get out of the way, ha. It shows off the metallic buttons so beautifully when you wear it up too!

The whole look is perfect for a socially distanced dinner + drinks with friends or even for any 4th of July festivities (just throw on a red lip!). You’ll definitely see me in it again and again, because it’s that good. Oh! And I forgot to mention the light blue ric rac trim at the bottom of the top… such a sweet touch. 😊
