Christmas Dorm Room Decor

As promised in my last Life Lately post, my roommate, Jenny, and I threw a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in our room for our little pink tree. “What does a dorm room miniature Christmas tree lighting ceremony party entail?” you ask? Well, Christmas music, red and green candies, funny cocktail napkins, and dressing up as Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus pretty much sums it up. …

Only in college are these napkins 100% applicable…

This is the wreath on our front door. I put some gold garland in it for a little extra sparkle.

I have this little glittery house on my nightstand. My mom has dozens of these scattered throughout our house, so it reminded me of home!

I couldn’t help but share this snapchat picture that my friend Nicole took when we are decorating the tree! In my Christmas pajamas, I look incredibly joyful to get the tree set up and all decked out!
{I bought the tree off Amazon last year and I got a lot of the ornaments and garland from Target!}

The final product!! It was magnificent in every way. I used one of my dress up tutus as a tree skirt– the one we originally bought just didn’t do it justice! My glittery gold tutu added a bit of flare.

Me in my Mrs. Claus ensemble the night of the tree lighting ceremony. My mom found this costume at a vintage store and it magically happens to fit my mom, little sister, and me!! Trust me, it gets a lot of use.

Wishing you a merry and bright start to the Christmas week!!
