I took these photos the other day in our back yard at the shore and loved how this floral embroidered top looked against the cedar shake of our beach house and in my mom’s overgrown 😉 garden. I adore babydoll style tops, especially when they’re covered in embroidery and floral detailing. I can see myself wearing this one under a cashmere cardigan come September/October and transitioning it into fall so easily. I’m also really loving this scalloped floral top and this precious pink and green floral babydoll top (paired with army green pants— thoughts?!). I am always overly excited when I find a really inexpensive item that works well and is adorable, so I couldn’t help but share this one with you!

This past weekend I went to the shore while my parents were moving in my little sister at school (she’s a sophomore in college, lucky DUCK), so I caught up on blogging, slept a ton of hours, had a painkiller on the beach, and enjoyed the heat and rainstorms that consumed the weekend. I’ve learned to appreciate and savor the weekends so much more now that I’m working full time, and don’t know how I’m going to feel not having Summer Fridays anymore, ha! I am a summer, seashore girl at HEART 🙂 xx
