Shopping the #NSale

It’s that time of year when Nordstrom distracts us from summer for a bit and introduces the ‘f-word’ for the first time in the year (ehem fall). The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale gets so much hype that it’s turned into the unofficial kickoff for the start of fall and back-to-school shopping. I have never gone crazy with it personally (here’s a look at my coverage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year), and since my blog is a direct reflection of my personal life, I won’t get wild with it on here either.  Instead, if you’re shopping it at all, my suggestion would be to pick up key staple items that you know you will get a ton of wear or use out of, and maybe try out a new trend that you’ve been eyeing, but don’t want to pay full price for. Nordstrom’s return policy is awesome as well, so you can always scoop something up online, try it on at home, and easily exchange or return it if you need. One // There’s truly nothing quite like the signature Barefoot Dreams fabric. This is the IDEAL cardigan for long travel days or nights in.

Two // A holy grail face product of mine– this lactic acid VISIBLY plumps my fine lines and evens out my skin tones.

Three // My short Hunter boots are much easier than my tall ones for my legs to walk around in, & they’re also more manageable to pack too. I wear my normal size in them.

Four // If you’re looking to start with a retinol but want to ease into it, this set is transformative for your face + neck!! Highly recommend.

Five // This is such a dream makeup set!! The iconic ‘Pillow Talk’ lip color looks so gorgeous on EVERYONE, & this has all of the best-selling items in one.

Six // Three cult-favorite TULA items all in one set for only $74… such a great way to try them out! The cooling eye balm is EVERYTHING.

Seven // I’ve always been a huge fan of Gorjana’s delicate gold pieces & this disk necklace looks WAY more expensive than $42.90.

Eight // Truly a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe every year. I’ve yet to find leggings more flattering– size up one size!

Nine // This is the BEST hairdryer and smoothest, softest blowout ever (I reviewed it in-depth here). Scoop it up with these DryBar favorites too!

Ten // I’ll definitely be re-purchasing & stocking up on this tanning mousse– it’s a staple that never fails me & doesn’t streak!

Eleven // One of my top five mascara recommendations— nothing else gives me more volume!

Twelve // This is the ultimate camel-colored fall turtleneck! Size up one size– I’ve always worn it with black jeans!

Thirteen // I have these in the brown version from a few years back and the sesame colorway is so stunning too! They run true to size.

Fourteen // You can absolutely never go wrong with the warmth & classic style of a Barbour. My mom has & loves this one!

Fifteen // I’ve used this nighttime face oil for YEARS and Johnny loves it too– it smells like lavender and smooths our skin texture overnight

Four // This ivory jewelry box is so simple & chic. It would coordinate with any closet/bedroom too.

Five // You will get so much wear out of this black puff sleeve mini dress— & it’s only $85!

Six // Get a powder, blush, + bronzer all for only $64 in this gorgeous palette! Dying to try it out.

Seven // This diamond bracelet matches the necklace I always wear so I’m seriously eyeing it…

Eight // I’d pair that sports bra with these neon biker shorts! They’re formulated with collagen-infused fabric that smoothes your skin.

Nine // Ok, this lounge set looks insanely soft and silky! Only $89 for the top + bottoms.

Ten // This sleeveless sweater dress is so perfect for a casual work environment or a warm fall day.

Eleven // You know I love a pop of forest green in the fall + winter and fleece EVERYTHING, & this jacket combines both so well!

Twelve // How chic is this houndstooth drape coat? It would be so perfect for work or paired over an all-black outfit.

Thirteen // This 18k gold beaded pendant charm has the tiniest beads on it that match the bracelets I wear all the time!
