What I’m Packing for a Weekend Getaway

When I was putting together this post I realized that Johnny and I will only have stayed in New York City for two or three weekends this summer by the time it’s over, so I’ve definitely had some practice packing for our weekend trips.  Since summer isn’t even close to being over yet (I’ve never been one to wish it away!) I thought I’d compile my weekend trip favorites— all of the items that will take you from the city to the beach, and from the beach to a cocktail hour or a fun summer event.  These items literally make me feel like I’m already poolside with a rosé in hand… don’t you think?! I’m heading to one of my favorite New England coastal towns this weekend, Newport, which will call for some of these packing essentials for SURE. xx
