So excited to be participating in this “Show Us Where You Work” blog event! Hosted by the fabulous  Rebecca of East Coast Girls in Pearls, Carleee of Life with rMe, and Dorothy of Prep in Your Step! They are all amazing bloggers and I recommend you stop by their sites if you haven’t already! Together they organized a blogger link up where we all share our personal work spaces! They asked each blogger to answer a few questions that you’ll see scattered throughout this post!

Where is your favorite workspace located? (Library, apartment, dorm room?)
Mine is in my dorm room, so I don’t have a lot to work with regarding furniture, which means the decorations are really important to brighten it up and make it a colorful and homey work space! This is how my desk looked in August when I first moved in:
(all the pictures after this are of my desk right now– I’ve added a few things!)

Desk Details: white light: PB Teen // mousepad: Etsy // candy jar: Urban Outfitters // mirror & frames: T.J. Maxx // prints: Lilly Pulitzer & Etsy // flower frame: Lilly Pulitzer // shelves: Target // jewelry box: Urban Outfitters // YOLO sign: Primitives by Kathy // letter “A”: T.J. Maxx // “I’m so glam I sweat glitter” sign: Primitives by Kathy // perfume: Fragonard // tissue paper flowers: Etsy // tiered shelf: Urban Outfitters  {on sale now for $29!} // picture collage holder: Urban Outfitters

The right of my desk:
A framed picture of my dad and me, my markers and pens, a jar full of LifeSaver mints, a picture of my godmother and me as a little girl, a daisy card from my mom, and a card from my big!

To the left of my desk:

A framed picture of my little sister and me, a small bottle of Tory Burch perfume, a print of the story of how Lilly Pulitzer got started, and another inspiring print!

Do you prefer a sleek desk or are you more of an “organized chaos” kind of person?
As seen by the picture below (the inside of my top desk drawer) I’m definitely more of an “organized chaos” person. But, I am very particular about being neat and organized, so there’s always a system to the madness!

These are my shelves that rest above my desk:
They include monogrammed champagne flutes, a jar of “reasons why your big loves you,” a Lilly Pulitzer Theta frame, a YOLO sign, perfume that my mom brought me from Paris  pictures of my mom and me at the U.S. Open men’s final, a picture of my ADORABLE dog, a monogram canvas (courtesy of my big), and my jewelry box! I love the things on these shelves– they are so cheerful to look at while I’m working!

What is your favorite kind of writing utensil?
Probably a mechanical pencil, or any highlighter or marker– anything that’s bright and colorful.

A look at the right of my desk:

My Kappa Alpha Theta letters and a canvas my big made me. Also, my pink Moshi phone that I plug into my cell phone when I’m having a long conversation! So useful.

To the left of my desk:
A Lilly Pulitzer frame of me at my beach house and a print that says “Pearls Always Match the Monogram.” So true.

Show us your calendar or agenda!
Here it is! Lilly Pulitzer in the Tusk in Sun print, with a daisy sticker, which is the symbol of our student government that I’m in!

My blogging work essentials:
Lilly Pulitzer file folderKate Spade notebook, and Lolo pencil case! I keep all of my papers, notes, and ideas in these!

My desk as it is right now:
Totally overloaded with things I’ve accumulated over the year. Everything on it has a sentimental meaning and makes me so happy to look at!

And just for fun, what are you looking forward to most about spring?

So much! Warm weather, being able to wear bright colors (let’s be honest, I do that in every season..), and the final fun weeks of the semester!!
