I can’t help but start to shop for some classic red, white, and blue Americana styles as we get closer to Memorial Day weekend and then the summer ahead. Being born on Flag Day (June 14th), I grew up sporting stars and stripes as soon as my birthday month came around, and it’s no different as I inch my way toward 29. 😉

I recently purchased this bright coralish red swimsuit, this comfortable navy ruffled Amazon set, and this casual navy and white striped dress that I will be packing for every summer trip near the water. Speaking of being near the water, I’ve been eyeing this picnic basket (on sale!), these block print dinner napkins, and of course a set of gingham cups, for beach and boat lunches and cocktail hours.

In all, this edit is pretty much seaside cottagecore… now we just need to sit barefoot in the backyard or on the beach with a glass of rosé and a summer love story book in hand.
