The weather is finally hitting bearable temperatures and it’s *almost* starting to feel like September in Richmond. Which of course means breaking out the transitional dresses and BOOTS! I want to address a common misconception: short chicks can wear over the knee boots. I received these the other day and can’t get over how natural they look on my smaller frame. Who would have guessed?? I’m planning on over-wearing these and shaving my legs less… thoughts?  😉 The charcoal color is the perfect brown/black in between and the simple wedge and tassel zipper elevate the style.

Speaking of stunning details… the matching watch and bangle set that I styled has my heart fluttering over the leather, rose gold, and Swarovski crystal details. I’m a hopeless romantic for timeless, elegant accessories (hello monogram earrings and David Yurman cable bracelets) so adding this watch to my list of loves and jewelry rotation was no question.

I hope this outfit gives you an idea of how I’m dressing for those days when it’s HOT during the day but crisper in the evening, because I know that can get tricky (especially if you live in the south).
