Moisturized & Dewy Skin
I have to say that when it comes to beauty/skincare trends, I’m much more of a dewy glow than a matte complexion kind of girl. I just think there’s something so natural and stunning about a soft, hydrated, slightly sunkissed-looking face! It’s what I try to achieve whenever I do my morning skincare routine or my nighttime skincare routine, and also when I’m putting on my makeup.
This look is the most difficult to achieve in the middle of winter (hello dry skin and vitamin D withdrawal), so I thought it would be an especially helpful time to share my top holy grail products that help me achieve it, no matter what time of year.
Hopefully whatever your skin type is, you will be able to take away at least one of these products to glow up your face. There’s a cream, a self tanner, a makeup primer, a sunscreen, and a highlighter set! Have I used all of these at once? You bet– the below no-filter images show the result of using them all together. Extra glowy complexion…
^A few non-filtered, non-edited images of what my skin looks like after I use these five products together and these additional makeup products:
foundation {210 B Chai} // under eye balm // contour // blush {03 mellow daisy} // mascara primer // top mascara 1 // top mascara 2 // bottom mascara // eyeshadow {01 everlasting memories} // lipstick {845 peony} // lip gloss {light shimmery neutral}

Top Five Holy Grail Products
One // Avon Physiogel Calming Relief A.I. Face Cream
I shared an IGTV of these products at the end of last year, and have already become so loyal to this face cream. It’s science-backed and inspired by our skin’s natural structure of lipids, which seal in moisture. Additionally, it’s clinically proven to repair our skin’s natural moisture, thus restoring a glowy, hydrated complexion. I put it on before anything else and it immediately hydrates my skin and helps reduce any redness!
Two // Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops
My secret for waking up with a sun-kissed glow in the morning (even if it’s frosty and snowy outside)… I just add a dropper of this to my night cream before I go to bed, rub it all in and dab off my eyebrows with a towel (so it doesn’t get in my eyebrow hair/tattoo lol) and sleep with it on! Make sure to watch your hands well afterwards, but besides that it’s pretty much fool-proof and I’ve never had it streak. I do it about once a week– usually toward the end of the week so that I have a pretty glow for the weekend.
Three // Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum
I use this serum instead of a makeup primer when I want an extra dose of an all-over glow. It’s such a dewy texture that it almost seems to glimmer, and goes on my skin so smoothly. Then my foundation seems to melt in overtop of it seamlessly, and it holds my makeup in place all day long, while still maintaining a really pretty hydrated glow. Read the reviews on Sephora– they’re amazing!
Four // TULA Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30
This is my go-to shimmery sunscreen. It smells like Banana Runts or Laffy Taffy (IYKYK– though the ingredients are extracted from pineapple and papaya) and goes on clear but with the most gorgeous all-over shimmer. If you’re looking for a truly beautiful glisten, even without any makeup on top, this is IT. It provides SPF 30 plus protection from pollution and blue light as well. It’s never clogged my pores or made me break out at all either! Use my TULA code BELIEVESINPINK for 15% off anything on their site.
Five // Becca Cosmetics Mini Liquid and Light Highlight Set
The goddess of all highlighters… I am a highlighter addict so I’ve tried all different brands/types throughout the years, but this remains the best I’ve used so far! I would recommend this combo kit that features the liquid and pressed powder highlighter in Becca’s signature ‘passion’ and ‘opal’ shades. I will either use the liquid foundation or the pressed powder right above my cheek bones (after I apply my blush) and it provides the most angelic highlight that’s not chalky but completely natural!
