There are few creative activities I love more than setting up a really fun bar cart. In my About Me page I joke that I “am always set up to have a cocktail party at a moment’s notice and believe that the bar cart is the most important piece of furniture in the house…” and this post couldn’t be a more perfect example of that. 😊
What’s more fun than always being prepared to have your girlfriends over for a drink at a moment’s notice?! You get my point, this girl loves a festive bar cart setup. 😊
Serena & Lily Bar Cart
So you can imagine my gasp when I came across this Serena and Lily island-ready rattan bar cart, that literally seems to be made for our new house in Vero Beach. I scooped it up (along with a few bar cart accessories like this seagrass-wrapped pitcher and “A Great Party” coffee table book) faster than you can mix a margarita.
Of course I wasn’t surprised when the bar cart fit perfectly in the corner of our living room, with easy access from both our patio and the living room couch (#necessary). My sister & I had fun styling it up with some limes, my new “Lady in Lilly” Gray Malin print, and some fresh lilies and hydrangeas. Oh, not to mention a pineapple/feather crown (don’t ask 😊). So it turned out looking very Vero Beach, but most importantly, very us.
Now, who wants to bet that I find a way to finagle getting this bar cart back to my apartment in Philadelphia?! Would you be surprised if I told you that I took these photos over Christmas and the bar cart has already been relocated to my apartment?! Hey, I was serious when I implied how much I love it (mom, we can share it!!).
Serena & Lily Palm Beach Store
Over my holiday vacation in Florida I also got the chance to stop by Serena & Lily’s new store in Palm Beach, which is basically my dream design and décor visions brought to life in a single storefront. It’s located at 101 N. County Road (right across the street from the Skinny Dip store there!) and is my newest cannot-miss shopping spot on the island. You can always take a look at their online store locator to find where a store may be closest to you as well!
While we’re on the topic of S&L, I also had to mention that I wore these Serena & Lily Positano pajamas (love the name) over the holidays as well. They’re made of 100% European linen, which was so comfortable to wear in the warmer weather. You can see me in them in the below images that were taken in December (note the pink Christmas trees on the coffee table, ha!).
I love how this post quickly turned into me sharing so many of my new Serena & Lily finds. It’s easy to see why though, because I completely agree with their design philosophy that your home should be your most welcome oasis and your favorite place to be. So it’s true that with Serena & Lily living well really does begin at home! 😊xx
