Interested in learning about the concept behind these Cocktail Hour posts? Take a look at the first Cocktail Hour I did— it explains them well!

Cocktail of the Week:

The Wolffer Estate Vineyards “Summer in a Bottle”  rosé has been a favorite of mine all summer long. Our good friends gave me a jumbo bottle of it for my birthday in June, and we opened it up two weekends ago and it was delish. I’m not looking forward to the end of rosé season nearing so I’m indulging while I can. As soon as it hits sweater weather, I switch to spiked cider, which isn’t all too bad either. 😉

Life Updates:

Since my last cocktail hour post in July, I have been spending every weekend at the shore– except for the first weekend of August when I was in the Hamptons for a work trip. Two weekends ago we had Johnny, his older brother, and his older brother’s girlfriend (we all went to Richmond together) to the shore for our yacht club’s biggest summer party. It’s always one of my most favorite nights of the whole year, and we had a TIME. Safe to say we are going to chillll for the next few weekends, ha.

Last weekend, I was at the shore with my dad because my mom was moving my little sister into college (learn more about my relationship with Jacqueline in this recent post 🙂 ). I spent the weekend catching up on blog work while watching my shows (RHONY & RHOC) sitting on the beach, and catching up with some of my girlfriends. It was pure bliss 🙂

Now, I’m looking forward to another relaxing weekend at the shore and then hosting all of my best friends at the shore for Labor Day Weekend. I created an itinerary (when you do that for a living, you just can’t help yourself), and it pretty much consists of rosé, cheese boards, hot tubbing, sunset cruises, and dancing. There are no activities, or people, I adore more.

Pit of the Week:

Our summer Fridays end this week and it’s been giving me a major pit… haha. I keep talking about it and my mom is like “shut up I KNOW that your summer Fridays are ending.” ? I realize I’ve been SO lucky to have them all summer long and am so thankful. They’ve given me the opportunity to B-line straight to Long Beach Island every weekend at noon and I couldn’t be luckier for opportunity. Getting in the hot tub promptly at 5pm on a Friday has been a life saver– not to mention being able to have an extra half day to catch up on this little corner of my life. 🙂

Peak of the Week:

The cocktail party we hosted before our yacht club party two weekends ago. It’s just so much fun to get everyone together and there’s nothing like a patio party that starts with champagne punch and ends up with everyone dancing on the docks to a live band and then me asleep on our living room couch by 11:30 ?. True life, I am NOT a sophomore in college anymore, as much as I wish I was! #girlcannothang

Wellness Tidbit of the Week:

My dad just surprised me with the Apple AirPods and they have 100% changed the game for me with running and working out. I went for a longer run last weekend and listened to a podcast (Julie Solomon’s “The Influencer Podcast”) and the airpods were beyond weightless the whole time. I really believe that they will help me get back into a more rigorous workout routine and enjoy running longer more! It’s the little things that can make all the different for vamping up your workout routine.

Favorite Thing Seen on the Internet This Week:

I’ve been listening to Rachel Hollis’s book, Girl Wash Your Face, through Amazon’s Audible (it’s number one on Amazon’s charts right now) and have absolutely fallen in love with her stories and messages. It took me about three hours listening to get fully into it and now I’m hooked. If you’re needing a sign for a little life inspiration and a kick in the butt: this is your sign: read this book.

Best Deal of the Week:

The bathingsuit I wore in this Instagram is on sale right now for $90 off– yes! It is hands-down the most comfortable bathingsuit I’ve ever put on. Breathable, flattering, and adorable. It runs true to size (I wore the XS) and is available in all sizes as of now. I couldn’t recommend it any more for your Labor Day Weekend festivities or any trips you may have coming up this fall.

IBIP Obsession of the Week:

I have three and all are sparkly! 1: This Drybar x Too Faced Glitter Spritzer Sparkle Spray. I’ve never seen a better hair/body glitter spray. You NEED for your next sorority or Bachelorette party. 2. This Lisi Lerch monogrammed glitter clutch. It was love at first sight. It’s the most perfect and unique cocktail clutch just about ever! 3. These gold zirconia stud earrings. I wear these whenever I’m wearing a statement necklace or bracelets and need more toned-down, sparkly stud earrings. So many sparkles, so little time. 😉

Your Favorite Item Seen on IBIP This Week:

The v-neck block print maxi dress that my mamma wore to our yacht club party! It runs a bit small– she was wearing the 00 petite.

Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day to read and scroll through this Cocktail Hour post. As always, it means the absolute world to me to get to share so much of my life with you! xx
